Points Program

How does the points program work?

We register you in our computer system under your home telephone number and name.  Each time you make a purchase, the computer logs it in our system and prints out the points you have received today and a balance of the total points you have accumulated to-date on your receipt.

Please make sure that every time you make a purchase at either store, that you give the clerk your telephone number so that your points will be added into the system.  If we miss one of your transactions, we can manually adjust the purchases made into the system with your original receipt.

By reaching 300 points equivalent to $300 over the course of eight months, (from April 1st through to December 31st) you would be eligible to receive $10 in-store credit – redeemable anytime between January 1st and March 31st of the following year.

Each year on March 31st all points are zeroed from the system and everyone starts again from square one.

New to our points program this year is the addition of the 300 points level.

How does the tier system work?

When you reach different point levels, you receive better and better discounts.  For example, if you reach 1200 points = to $1200 you would qualify for $90 in-store credit.  At 1800 points you would qualify for $180 in-store credit.  If you reached 2400 points you would qualify for $300 in-store credit.  And finally, if you reached 3000 points, you would qualify for $450 in-store credit.

What items qualify for points?

Any item in the store that is not on sale already and is not an electrical will qualify for points.

Are there other benefits to joining the points program?
Yes, by registering with us, we will have a record of all of your purchases.  We can access this if you happen to lose a receipt or if you want to complete a set of dinnerware or cookware and are not sure of what you already have at home.

What are double points?

From time to time we will be offering double points on the purchase of different items we are promoting.  If purchased during these promotional periods, you will get 2 points for every $1 spent on the item instead of our regular 1 point/$1.

What is the difference between a regular and preferred customer status?

All of our regular customers just receive points on their purchases.

All of our preferred customers receive points and have asked to be contacted by email with any special in-store promotions, free knife sharpening clinics and cake decoating classes.
